We have been to Turkiye the second time from Mauritius and we couldn't resist coming to Chef Eyad again!! The meat was amazingly soft and tasty!! The staff were really friendly and welcoming.. Rice, salad, sauce, drinks come free with the meat… it was laziiiz!!! We will definitely come again inshaAllah…

This is our second time in the same week! We had lamb neck and shoulder, and both were amazing! The staff are friendly and responds directly to our requests! Only one comment about the smell, it can get a bit stuffy in there.

Texas bbq here in Istanbul ! I got a giant lamb shank and it had so many options to dip it in ! I never had BBQ sauce on a lamb shank and it worked. The place is immaculate and it comes with so many extras ! I want to get the brisket tomorrow. The chef speaks English and explained all the meats and spices He opened up some brisket and gave me a sample and out of this world

If you’re in Istanbul and consider yourself a meat lover — Chef Eyad in Taksim is a must-visit. I tried their slow-smoked lamb shoulder, and honestly, it was one of the best smoked meats I’ve ever had. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply infused with smoky flavor, and yet somehow still juicy and rich without being greasy. Each bite melted with a perfect balance of spices — subtle, but soulful. It’s clear they give their meats the time and care they deserve — smoked low and slow for 12+ hours. The ambience is cozy, staff welcoming, and the owner clearly passionate about the craft of smoked cooking. Highly recommended.

Such a fantastic restaurant with a fair price. I came from Dublin where 1kg of brisket will cost you over 80euro nowadays and the quality is mediocre. But this store, oh my, it is so fabulous! My daughter is from Texas and she is like this is hometown flavor. Here I spent 2800 TL which is like 60 euro. I’m a meat eater so probably you only need half kilo for 2 people. Really, I love this place!

Delicious restaurant for lamb and beef! They have the meat pre-made waiting in heating units and they charge based on weight (roughly 2150 TL per kg). Upon walking in, the staff are friendly and kind. They bring you to the counter where the chef (who speaks English) helps weigh out the meat for you. I had the lamb shank and really enjoyed how the meat falls off the bone. The flavor was tender and juicy! Each meat dish comes with a plethora of side dishes and a drink as well. They accept credit card and cash!
